International Departures Upper Level On the departure level, there are 156 ticketing positions, 6 security check- points, concessions, airline VIP lounges and airline ticketing offices. Most departing flights operate out of Terminal 5. Domestic airlines with inter- national service continue to operate from domestic terminals. Passengers should check with their air carrier for current information regarding the exact location of departure.
Only ticketed passengers are permitted beyond the security checkpoint. The checkpoint is located directly beyond the concession court.
Visitor Information Centers & International Terminal Phone Numbers The City has Visitor Information Centers on the upper and lower levels to assist travelers with questions about airport directions, ground transportation, hotels, and upcoming City of Chicago events and attractions.
On the lower level, the Visitors Information Center is centrally located in the meeters / greeters lobby. The Visitor Information Centers are staffed by helpful multi-lingual city representatives that can provide guidance to foreign travelers.
There are two exit doors from the immigration processing area. Each flight and its passengers are assigned and directed to exit through either door A or B. Door assignment information is available on arrival / departure flight monitors in the meeters / greeters lobby. To make it easy to meet your party, video cameras allow you to see passengers as they arrive through either door. You can view arrivals on the wide-screen television monitors just above the Visitor Information Center.
