The Process

The most complicated process of converting the video or film to the desktop comes second-nature to the technologists and broadcast specialists at MIBG. After or during acquisition, the big question of bandwidth plays out. And how do I deliver the content to the network?

The Delivery

MIBG has developed the most comprehensive delivery and broadcast strategy available for the Internet today. During live productions, the content is beamed via satellite or microwave to our Network Operations Center (NOC) in San Jose, California.

After reception, the content is captured at full resolution on an all Silicon Graphics Network. The content is monitored by our broadcast and network specialist making sure the broadcast is delivered without a hitch.

The Location

Our NOC is one floor above the San Jose Network Access Point and connects directly in at 100mbps. In addition, MIBG works with Genuity (A Bechtel Company) and offers a fully redundant Tier 1 DS3 Backbone and connects to the commercial Internet Backbone at a dizzying 90mbps.

Now you may ask yourself, "That sounds interesting, but how does the end user utilize the broadcast?". MIBG offers all of the popular and new innovative broadcast capabilities: Progressive Network ("Real Audio & Video"), X-Ing Technologies, See-U-C-ME, Streaming Quicktime and MPEG.
