LAX INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Los Angeles Municipal Airport, originally known as Mines Field, began operation
in 1928 and has grown consistantly through the years.

LAX is now the fourth busiest airport in the world based on number of passengers.

LAX also ranks second worldwide in tons of air cargo handled.

There are nine terminals with more than 140 aircraft parking spots for commercial
airlines. Los Angeles International is home to the most broadly based selection of
airlines of any American airport. Our shippers import and export products as
diverse as the nations we serve.
