All buses depart from the central reservation island in front of the terminal building where there is a bus information kiosk displaying bus timetables.
There are coach services to Glasgow City Centre with drop off points to service British rail mainline stations; Glasgow Central and Queen Street and Buchanan Street bus station. During peak hours, 0800-1700 Monday to Saturday, the service operates 6 times per hour and less frequently at off peak times. An hourly service operates on Sundays. A coach service to Edinburgh, St Andrews Square bus station operates twice per hour from 0600-0800 and 1000-1700 hours Monday to Saturday, with an hourly service at other times. An hourly service operates on Sundays between 0700 and 1000 hours and at five minutes before each even hour thereafter.
A frequent local bus service to Paisley with drop off point at Gilmour Street railway station operates Monday-Saturday at 10 minute intervals at peak times and every 30 minutes at off peak times. An hour service operates on Sundays.

Passengers can purchase through tickets to and from any railway station in Scotland from the Greater Glasgow Tourist Board kiosk near International Arrivals on the ground floor of the terminal building.

Paisley's Gilmour Street Railway Station is the nearest to the airport. Just two miles from the terminal, it can be reached by taxi (cab) or frequent local bus service.
There are direct train services from Paisley Gilmour Street to Glasgow Central Station, Ayr and Clyde coast destinations, change at Glasgow's Central Station for inter city and local train services.
Alternatively the coach service from the airport stops close to Central and Queen Street main line stations for rail connections to the whole of Scotland and Northern England.

Taxis are available from the rank on the terminal forecourt. Example fares are displayed at the rank. With the exception of pre-booked hire all taxis must pick from the designated taxi rank and must hold a Glasgow Airport Permit. All drivers will provide courteous service and agree to undertake short journeys. If you have any reason for complaint, quote the driver's Permit, Taxi Plate or Vehicle Registration number to the Airport Duty Manager as soon as possible.
Avis, Hertz, Eurodollar, Europcar and Alamo have desks located in a building directly outside the UK arrivals concourse and in the International arrivals concourse.
